Phone: +49 5341 9017412
E-mail: info@salzgitter-kesselservice.de
Represented by: Marco Wunderling (Managing Director)

The company named above is the controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). No data protection officer has been appointed, as the legal requirements for this do not apply.

2. General information

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to operate this website and to handle your inquiries. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), Art. 6(1)(b) (contract and pre-contractual steps) and Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest). Data is deleted as soon as the purpose of processing no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations stand in the way.

This website uses SSL encryption (https). Data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Profihost AG, Expo Plaza 1, 30539 Hannover, Germany. When you visit the website, the server automatically records information transmitted by your browser: the page accessed, date and time, amount of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources and serves solely the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted automatically after a short period. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

4. Contact form, e-mail and telephone

If you contact us via the contact form, by e-mail or by telephone, we process the data you provide (name, e-mail address, subject, message and any further details) in order to handle your inquiry and any follow-up questions. Inquiries submitted via the contact form are stored in the website system and forwarded to our mailbox. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your inquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We keep the data until your inquiry has been fully dealt with and no retention obligations stand in the way.

Photos and documents. In the spare part request and on the page “Add photos” you can upload photos or documents, for example of the type plate or the part. The files are stored on our server, sent to our mailbox with your request and used only to handle it; the same retention period applies as for the request. Please do not upload photos in which people can be recognised.

Confirmation and e-mail delivery. After a spare part request we send an automatic confirmation of receipt to the e-mail address you entered. Form e-mails and our mailbox run on Microsoft 365, provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., which acts as a processor on our behalf.

Spam protection with CleanTalk. To protect against automated spam submissions we use the CleanTalk service of CleanTalk Inc., 111 Barclay Blvd, Suite 202, Lincolnshire, IL 60069, USA. When you submit a form, your IP address, the e-mail address you entered, the content of the form fields and technical details about your browser are transmitted to CleanTalk and checked automatically for spam. The related script from cleantalk.org is only loaded once you start filling in a form; your IP address is transmitted to CleanTalk in the process. In addition, our server checks the IP address of every request against a CleanTalk block list stored on our server; requests from blocked addresses are reported to CleanTalk. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working website without spam (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). CleanTalk processes the data on our behalf. A transfer to the USA is possible; it is based on the EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) that we have concluded with CleanTalk. CleanTalk deletes the check logs after 7 days at the latest. Further information: cleantalk.org/publicoffer.

5. Cookies

This website only sets technically necessary cookies. Cookies that require consent are not used.

6. Web analytics with Matomo

This website uses the open-source web analytics software Matomo. Matomo runs exclusively on our own server; no data is transmitted to third parties. Matomo operates without cookies and shortens your IP address before storage, so that no conclusions can be drawn about you as a person. The data collected includes pages visited, time spent, referring page, browser type and approximate location (country and region) derived from the shortened IP address. Raw data is deleted after 15 months; aggregated reports without personal data are kept. We use this data to understand which content is in demand and to improve the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

You can object to this collection at any time using the setting below. This places a cookie in your browser that prevents collection for this website. If you delete your cookies, the setting must be made again.

You may choose to prevent this website from aggregating and analyzing the actions you take here. Doing so will protect your privacy, but will also prevent the owner from learning from your actions and creating a better experience for you and other users.

Scroll depth. In addition, the website measures how far pages are read, without cookies and without any identifier: when you leave a page, your browser sends the page address, the device class (phone, tablet, computer) and the scroll depth reached to our server. Only daily totals per page are stored. Your IP address is used only briefly and in hashed form to prevent abuse and is not stored. If “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” is enabled in your browser, no measurement takes place. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. To do so, please use the contact details above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony (Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen), Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover, Germany, www.lfd.niedersachsen.de.
